Privacy Policy

1. Purposes of processing

The Service processes personal information only for the following purposes and will take the steps required by Article 18 of the Act before using it for anything else.

• Recommending products, brands and outfits that match your taste
• Running the Service reliably, handling outages and preventing abuse
• Answering your inquiries

2. Information processed

• For recommendations: the taste you choose (which clothes to see, styles, price range, categories, materials, colors, favorite brands) and the numbers of products you saved. None of this identifies you.
• Generated automatically when you use the Service: IP address, time of access, device and browser type (access logs)
• For inquiries (only if you email us): your email address and message
• For outfit problem reports (only if you tap "Report a problem"): the outfit's product numbers and the reason. Nothing about who sent it is kept.

3. Retention

• Your taste and saved items are not stored on our servers. They stay on your device (the app's on-device storage, or browser cookies on the web). They are sent with each recommendation request and discarded as soon as the response is made, and remain on your device until you delete the app or clear cookies.
• Access logs are kept by our hosting processor, Vercel Inc., for up to 1 day and then deleted automatically.
• Inquiry emails are deleted 1 year after we finish answering, or right away if you ask.
• Outfit problem reports arrive by email to the operator and are deleted once handled. They contain no personal information.

4. Destruction

Personal information is destroyed without delay once its retention period ends or its purpose is fulfilled, in a way that cannot be recovered. Your taste and saved items are deleted immediately when you delete the app, clear browser cookies, or tap "Reset my taste" on the My Taste screen.

5. Disclosure to third parties

The Service does not provide your personal information to third parties. Product photos are loaded directly from each seller's server, so a seller may receive your device's connection information (such as its IP address) when a photo loads. When you open a seller's page, that seller's privacy policy applies to it and to any purchase.

6. Processors

The Service entrusts the following processing to:

• Vercel Inc.: hosting the servers and website (handling recommendation requests, keeping access logs)
• Google LLC: receiving and storing inquiry emails (Gmail)

7. Transfers outside Korea

Under Article 28-8(1)(3) of the Act (entrustment and storage), personal information is transferred abroad as follows. You can refuse the transfer by not using the Service, in which case the Service cannot be used.

• Recipient: Vercel Inc. 8. Your rights

You may ask to access, correct, delete or stop the processing of your personal information at any time. Your taste and saved items live only on your device, so you can view, change or delete them yourself on the My Taste and Saved screens. For inquiry emails, write to the address in Article 13; we will act within 10 days of your request and tell you the result. A legal representative or someone you authorize may also exercise these rights with a letter of authorization.

9. Children under 14

The Service does not collect information that identifies users and does not separately collect personal information of children under 14.

10. Security

• All communication is encrypted with HTTPS.
• Your taste and saved items are not stored on our servers, so there is as little as possible to leak from them.
• Only the operator can access the servers and the inquiry mailbox.

11. Cookies and similar technologies

• The website uses cookies and browser storage to remember your taste (codii_profile), saved items (codii_saved) and display theme. No advertising or tracking cookies are used.
• You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; if you do, your taste and saved items will not be kept and personalized recommendations may not work.
• The iOS app does not use cookies and keeps the same information only in on-device storage.

12. Behavioral information

The Service does not collect behavioral information for targeted advertising and does not access the advertising identifier (IDFA), analytics tools, location, contacts or photos.

15. Changes

This Privacy Policy applies from October 16, 2026, the day the app was released. Any additions, deletions or changes will be announced on the privacy policy page of the website and app at least 7 days before they take effect. The previous version applied from October 9 to October 15, 2026. If this English version differs from the Korean version, the Korean version prevails.
